Gabriëlle Rothuizen is a corporate lawyer at RPS Legal, where she advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters. Her multidisciplinary background combines legal expertise with extensive international and operational experience, enabling her to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
Gabriëlle obtained her Master’s degree in Public International Law from Leiden University, one of the Netherlands’ leading academic institutions. Early in her career, she moved to Greece to work for a non-governmental organization dedicated to combating human trafficking. In this role, she gained valuable insight into international legal frameworks, human rights issues, and cross-border cooperation, while working in a challenging and multicultural environment.
Following her return to the Netherlands, Gabriëlle transitioned into the non-profit sector, serving as Operations Manager for an internationally active foundation. This position allowed her to develop strong leadership, organizational, and strategic management skills while overseeing complex operations across multiple jurisdictions. Her experience working closely with stakeholders, management teams, and international partners has given her a deep understanding of the legal and commercial challenges organizations face in practice.
Committed to continuous professional development, Gabriëlle further expanded her academic and legal knowledge through specialized courses at Case Western Reserve University and Michigan State University in the United States. These international studies enhanced her understanding of comparative legal systems and global business environments.
Before joining RPS Legal, Gabriëlle worked with several law firms, where she built substantial experience in corporate and commercial law. Her diverse professional background enables her to approach legal matters from both a legal and operational perspective, helping clients navigate complex business challenges with clarity and confidence.
